Technical Overview
Ramblas comes out of the box as a Class I ebike, with pedal assist and a top speed of 20 MPH. Aventon’s Ramblas is built to the IP67-rated standard. IP67 rating means it’s protected against the effects of immersion in water to a depth between 15 cm and 1 meter. IP67-rated products are referred to as waterproof vs only water-resistant, so you can cross creeks, and ride in rain and mud without worry. Aventon ebikes are not intended to be subjected to a pressurized spray. Do not use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike.

Love my new Ramblas!
Picked up my new Ramblas on Friday and already love this bike! Headed out for 25 mile ride today, used ECO mode majority of the time and still had 77% of my battery when I finished. The torque in this motor is amazing, hit Turbo and hang on..it moves! This is my first E-Bike and Mountain bike for that matter. I researched a lot and kept coming back to Aventon and the Ramblas. So happy I did. Highly recommend this bike. Picked up the Level 2 Commuter for my wife as well, another fine piece of machinery. I'm telling folks to check out Aventon.

A great E-MTB that brings the joy back to biking!
I’ve been riding a bicycle in one form or another since my teens and as a 72-year-old biking enthusiast, this bike is a dream. I’ve had this bike for a month now and it has enabled me to take many longer rides on trails with steep hills that previously I would pass over. Living in Sonoma County where we have many parks and trails to ride on, the Ramblas has reopened all of these to me.
I ordered my bike directly from Aventon since our local dealer did not have my size in stock. Communication from Aventon was good and their shipping was very fast. I’ve ordered numerous bicycles online over the years and I would have to say the Aventon Ramblas was the best packed in the box bike I have ever received. You could tell the Aventon crew put good thought in how to properly package their bicycle for shipping and removing the bicycle from the box. Out of the box, the Ramblas was very easy to assemble under an hour. The rear wheel cardboard stand was a plus for making it easy to assemble the bike. The disc brakes and the rear derailleur were all calibrated properly out of the box and no adjustments where needed so you could start riding right away after assembly.
The components on this bike are top notch for this price range and the mid-drive motor has plenty of power, even for the steep trails I’ve ridden on. The Ramblas is a well-designed E-MTB and for me it is a very comfortable bike to ride on. The battery holds a very long charge and there's been no worry about it running out of juice while on a long ride. The Ramblas peddles smoothly like a regular bike when the power assist is turned off which wasn’t always the case for other mid-drive E-MTB’s I’ve ridden. The smoothness of the crank in non power assist mode is a real plus. For those older folks like me and you younger folks too, you can’t go wrong with purchasing this quality E-MTB bike.
